The 2025 Britannia 1kg silver coin will contain 1,000 grams of fine silver and is the largest bullion coin produced by The Royal Mint.
Like its smaller counterparts the kilo silver Britannia coins will incorporate a host of security features making them one of the world's most visually secure silver bullion coins.
We expect that the obverse will feature the portrait of His Majesty King Charles III by Martin Jennings with the reverse design from Philip Nathan. The 2025 Britannia 1kg silver coin will be a legal tender coin in the UK, and is therefore exempt from Capital Gains Tax. As an official partner of The Royal Mint, all of our brand new coins come direct from their plant in Llantrisant, Wales.
