The 1999 1 kilogram fine silver Kookaburra coin is produced by Australia's Perth Mint, and features a finely detailed image of the Kookaburra on one side, and Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse. The Kookaburra bird is a Kingfisher, native to Australia and New Guinea.
