The 2023 Australian Wedge Tail Eagle 1oz silver coin is the 10th release in the series and features a new reverse design of a Wedge Tail Eagle taking flight from a branch. The coin contains 1 oz of 9999 pure silver and has a face value of $1 AUD backed by the Australian government.
The obverse of the coin features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II with a commemorative 1952-2022 date mark, while the reverse was designed by former US Mint Chief Engraver John Mercanti. The coin is available in individual acrylic capsules, rolls of 20, or boxes of 100. The mintage for the coin is limited to 50,000.
