Description

The 2019 30 gram silver Panda coin from the Chinese Mint.

The obverse always features an image of the Temple of Heaven: an Imperial Sacrificial Altar in Beijing. On the reverse side is the Silver Panda, whose design changes each year. This year's silver Panda features the very latest design of a Panda and its cub.

This silver Panda contains 30g of fine silver rather than 1oz (31.10g) like many other silver bullion coins. China deviated from traditional imperial weightings for their coins, making gold and silver bullion from the People's Bank a more unusual item and a popular choice for a varied investment or keepsake.
