Egyptian Relics Kek Silver Coin 5oz

The Egyptian Relic Series is a collection of bullion silver coins minted by Scottsdale Mint for the Republic of Chad. Each coin in the series draws inspiration from Egyptian relics and ancient hieroglyphics. The 2022 Kek 5oz silver coin features a hand-brushed antique finish and chiselled granite edges, evoking the aura of ancient Egypt.

Each coin contains 5oz of 999 pure silver, for an impressive-sized coin. The obverse side showcases the Republic of Chad coat of arms, along with inscriptions denoting the value of 1,000 West African CFA francs, year of release, metal weight, type, and purity. On the reverse side, you'll find a depiction of Kek against a backdrop of an Egyptian temple.

Kek is an ancient Egyptian deity associated with darkness, night, and chaos. Often depicted as a frog or a frog-headed human, Kek is part of the Ogdoad, representing the primordial forces of the universe. While associated with chaos, he plays a crucial role in the cyclical nature of creation and renewal.
