Pre-Owned 1/2oz Silver Coin

Pre-owned 1/2oz silver coins are a cost-effective way to buy second-hand silver bullion in a smaller size, offering the same metal content as a new coin at a lower price.

These pre-owned 1/2oz silver coins may come from the Perth Mint Lunar series, the Perth Mint Koala, the Canadian Wildlife series and the Armenian Noah's Ark. Because this is a pre-owned product we cannot guarantee which coin you will receive, as it depends on our current stock.

Every 1/2oz silver coin is guaranteed to hold half a troy ounce (15.55 grams) of at least 999 fine silver. The precious metal content is exactly the same as a new coin; only the packaging and presentation differ. Each coin is checked and tested by our experienced in-house team before we offer it for sale. Being a second-hand product, they are supplied without their original mint packaging, capsules or certificates.

Please note: these 1/2oz silver coins have been purchased back from our own customers, and may show signs of previous ownership such as surface marks, blemishes or tarnishing. Appearance and condition vary from one coin to the next. Neither these cosmetic imperfections nor the absence of an original certificate affects the intrinsic value of the precious metal. We still offer the same buyback rate as we would for an equivalent new coin, based on the precious metal content. Collectors who want a flawless example should look at our new silver coins instead. For investors buying purely for the precious metal, this is one of the most cost-effective ways to do it.
