The coin is made of 925 sterling silver and has a diameter of 27.3mm. It features a portrait of King Charles III by Martin Jennings on the obverse side, while the reverse side depicts the royal crown above the personal cypher of King Charles III, with the background filled by the arches of Westminster Abbey. Both the obverse and reverse designs have received the King's personal approval.
As a proof coin, it has a highly polished finish and is struck multiple times with specially prepared dies to give it a sharp, detailed design.
