The Tudor Beasts 2024 Seymour Unicorn proof 10oz silver coin is a part of The Royal Tudor Beasts Collection that pays tribute to the stone sculptures on the Moat Bridge at Hampton Court Palace, which were commissioned by Henry VIII almost 500 years ago. The Seymour Unicorn is the fifth coin in the proof collection. Unicorns are a symbol of royal dominion and purity, and was gifted to Jane Seymour by the king in hopes of blessing their marriage with a son and heir.
The coin's design, created by collection artist David Lawrence, features the unicorn holding a shield, it comes with packaging that explores the origin and significance of the Seymour Unicorn emblem. The reverse of the coin features the official coinage portrait of His Majesty King Charles III.
This 2024 Seymour Unicorn 10oz proof silver coin has a limited production run of only 100, is struck to 999 fine silver. It is a unique and valuable addition to any collection as a symbol of the rich family history of the British Royal Family.
