Description

The 2022 Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II Proof silver 5oz coin is one of several coins issued by The Royal Mint to honour the life and service of the late queen. This is part of the ounces range, and is the first such coins to feature King Charles III in the UK.

As with all coins in the range, the obverse (front) of the coin features Martin Jennings' portrait of King Charles III for the first time, making it a historic release. The reverse features a new graceful design of Elizabeth II by John Bergdahl and The Royal Mint.

This Proof five ounce (155.5g) coin is struck in fine silver (999) and weighs a total of 156.3g. It is presented in a handsome presentation box and comes with a certificate of authenticity and full colour booklet.
