As a tribute to the longest-reigning monarch in British history, The Royal Mint created this special memorial set that features the eight definitive coins of 2022, as well as the memorial UK 50p and £5 struck to commemorate the extraordinary life of our late queen.
Each coin is adorned with a privy mark displaying Her Majesty’s birth year and the year of her passing. The portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clarke appears on the obverse of the eight definitive coins in the set and the commemorative coins feature the official coinage portrait of His Majesty The King by Martin Jennings.
This proof set contains 92.19 grams of sterling (925) silver, giving a total metal content of 85.28 grams. It is presented in a handsome presentation box and comes with a certificate of authenticity and full colour booklet.
