Description

The 2024 Dragon 1oz gold rectangular coin is a bar-shaped coin from Perth Mint, struck from 1oz of 999.9 pure gold. The reverse of the coin features an oriental dragon gazing at a flaming pearl, symbolizing wisdom, with a background of water and clouds, representing control and good luck. The design includes the inscription '2024' for the Year of the Dragon and a 'P125' mintmark to commemorate The Perth Mint's 125th anniversary.

The obverse of the coin features the effigy of King Charles III, along with the coin's weight, purity, and monetary denomination. A limited mintage of only 8,888 means that this 2024 rectangular dragon gold bar is sure to be in high demand.
