The 2015 Mexican Libertad proof gold coin set, produced by La Casa de Moneda de Mexico on behalf of the country's central bank, Banco de México. It contains 1oz, 1/2oz, 1/4oz, 1/10th oz and 1/20th oz coins. Boxed with certificate - limited to 500 sets.
This beautiful gold coin features the Angel of Independence on its reverse side. The angel is a major symbol in Mexican history, relating to the fight for its independence from Spain. The angel stands in front of a landscape featuring two of Mexico's volcanoes: Popocatépetl and Iztaccihuatl.
The coin's obverse bears Mexico's coat of arms, with previous national coats of arms surrounding it.
The gold Libertad is struck in pure .999 gold.
