The 2025 1/2oz gold Britannia coin contains advanced security features such as a holographic trident/padlock, microscopic Latin text, and a wave effect in the coin's background making it one of the most secure coins in the world. It contains 15.55 grams of fine gold and has a face value of £50 meaning that it is exempt from capital gains tax (CGT) for UK investors.
