Our Best Value half ounce gold Britannia coins from The Royal Mint. Due to their status as British Legal tender they are exempt from Capital Gains Tax. These coin contains a half troy ounce (15.6 grams) of fine gold.
Pre 2013, this coin is 22ct and weighs 17 grams. 2013 onwards the coins are 24ct and weigh 15.6 grams. Both contain exactly 1/2 oz fine gold.
You will receive a random year of our choosing in good to fair condition, we have digitally altered the image to reflect this. The coin selected may be Charles III or Elizabeth II, customers cannot specify which portrait they receive. Please note, the 1/2oz Britannia coins are supplied in plastic sheets by The Royal Mint, and may be supplied in this original packaging or capsules depending on available stock.
