The 2026 Quarter Ounce Gold Britannia is produced by The Royal Mint and struck in 999.9 fine gold. It features the classic Britannia design on the reverse-an icon and symbol of Britain-alongside the monarch's effigy on the obverse for the 2026 issue. With the coin presented in an oak gift box with a black velvet lining, this quarter-ounce Britannia is well suited to gifting, while remaining a formal bullion issue. As a British legal tender coin, it is exempt from Capital Gains Tax for UK residents.
