The 2009 Britannia 1oz is a British gold coin, minted by the Royal Mint. The weight of the coin is 34.05 grams with a fineness of 916.7 (22 carat gold), this means it contains 31.10348 grams of pure gold. The diameter of the coin is 32.60mm. The 1oz Britannias have a face value of 100 Pounds and are legal tender in the UK.

This coin contains one troy ounce (31.10 grams) of fine gold and like all Royal Mint gold coins up to 2013, the 2009 1oz gold Britannia is a 22ct gold coin.
