The 2023 King Charles III 1oz Britannia gold coin contains 1 troy ounce (31.1 grams) of pure gold, and has a face value of £100. Thanks to its status as capital gains tax (CGT) exempt the Britannia is sure to remain one of the first choices for UK investors and collectors, marking a new chapter in this classic British coin series.
