These gold bullion Half Sovereigns are dated from 2016 to 2022, you will receive a year of our choice based on available stock.

This gold half Sovereign features the fifth portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse of this coin introduced in 2016. Designed by the Royal Mint's Jody Clark, the portrait of the Queen sees her wearing Diamond Jubilee drop pearl earrings and the King George IV State Diadem which she had also worn on third portrait coins. This headpiece is the one worn for the annual State Opening of Parliament. At the time of this portrait the Queen was 88 years old.

The classic sovereign design of George and the Dragon is on the reverse on the coin for most years. All these gold bullion half Sovereigns are checked for accurate weight, size and condition prior to being sent to you.
