This five pound proof gold coin minted to celebrate the 75th Birthday of King Charles III comes presented in a beautiful Royal Mint box.

Born on November 14, 1948, at Buckingham Palace, Charles Philip Arthur George, now King Charles III, ascended the throne on September 8, 2022, following over 70 years as the heir apparent. Passionate about the arts, architecture, and environmental causes, he champions sustainability by working harmoniously with nature. Celebrating his 75th birthday, this coin features a design by Royal Mint's Dan Thorne which has been personally approved by The King. It showcases the King's royal cypher, with the number 75, framed by oak leaves and delphiniums.

This 2023 75th Birthday gold proof Crown coin is made of 22-carat (916.7) gold and has a diameter of 38.61mm. As a proof coin, it has a highly polished finish and is struck multiple times with specially prepared dies to give it a sharp, detailed design. The coin comes in a protective presentation case with a booklet about the king's life, making it an ideal gift for collectors and enthusiasts.
