Description

This coin was issued in 2010 to celebrate the Royal Engagement of Prince William and Catherine (Kate) Middleton, who would become the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

The coin reverse was designed by Matt Bonaccorsi, while the obverse bears the fourth official portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley.

This Five Pound Proof gold coin (also known as a Crown, or Quintuple Sovereign) is beautifully packaged in a wooden case with felt lining and also carries a numbered Certificate of Authenticity. Limited to 1300 sets.
