The 2022 Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II Piedfort (Double Thickness) Proof silver £5 coin is one of several coins issued by The Royal Mint to honour the life and service of the late queen. This is also the first UK Crown coin to feature King Charles III.

As with all coins in the range, the obverse (front) of the coin features Martin Jennings' portrait of King Charles III for the first time, making it a historic release. The reverse features a beautiful dual image design of Queen Elizabeth II by John Bergdahl and The Royal Mint.

This Proof piedfort five pound coin (Crown) is struck in sterling silver (.925) and weighs a total of 56.56g. It is presented in a handsome presentation box and comes with a certificate of authenticity and full colour booklet.
