BullionByPost are proud to present this Proof Piedfort 50p Silver Coin released to celebrate the coronation of His Majesty King Charles III as monarch of the United Kingdom.

The coin is made of 925 sterling silver and has a diameter of 27.3mm, and is a Piedfort (Double Thickness) coin. It features a portrait of King Charles III by Martin Jennings on the obverse side, while the reverse side depicts the royal crown above the personal cypher of King Charles III, with the background filled by the arches of Westminster Abbey. Both the obverse and reverse designs have received the King's personal approval.

As a proof coin, it has a highly polished finish and is struck multiple times with specially prepared dies to give it a sharp, detailed design. The coin comes in a protective presentation case, making it an ideal gift for collectors and enthusiasts to remember this special day. The box also includes a certificate of authenticity and booklet to mark the occasion, verifying the limited mintage of just 3,250 coins.
