The 6th of May 2023 is an historic day in British History as we celebrate the first coronation of the 21st century with the crowning of His Majesty King Charles III.

BullionByPost are proud to offer this exquisite 2oz proof silver coin from The Royal Mint to mark this historic occasion. It features a regal portrait of King Charles III by Martin Jennings, wearing the Tudor Crown. The reverse showcases a detailed design by John Bergdahl, featuring the Royal Coat of Arms surrounded by the text "Honi soit qui mal y pense" (shamed be whoever thinks ill of it) and a beautiful floral pattern including the emblems of the United Kingdom - the rose, thistle, daffodil and shamrock.

The coin contains two ounces of 999 fine silver, as a proof coin it has a highly polished finish and was struck multiple times with specially prepared dies to give it a sharp, detailed design. It comes in an official Royal Mint box with a thoughtfully prepared booklet making this a wonderful keepsake to remember such a momentous occasion.
