Description

A 2025 1/4oz American Eagle gold coin from the US Mint.

The obverse design of the Eagle gold coin features the classic Lady Liberty with flowing hair holding a torch and olive branch. It was originally produced by Augustus Saint-Gaudens for the US Mint's limited edition Double Eagle coins in the early 1900s. The reverse Type II design features a close up of a bald eagle's head.

The 2025 quarter ounce gold Eagle coin is struck in 22-carat gold (.9167) and contains 7.775 grams of pure gold. They are official legal tender in the United States of America, with a face value of $10.
