Issued to celebrate 1000 years since the Babenberg Dynasty began their rule in 976 AD. The Babenbergs are one of the most famous families of early medieval Europe. Featuring the Eagle holding the hammer and sickle on the obverse and a mounted knight on the reverse with the words "EINSETZUNG DER BABENBERGER".
