A Colombian 5 Pesos gold coin. Struck to the same specifications as the British Sovereign, the Colombian 5 Pesos gold coin is 7.98 grams in weight at a purity of 22 carat, for a pure gold content of 7.32 grams.

These unusual coins feature the small head bust of Simon Bolivar facing right, encircled by the text "REPUBLICA DE COLOMBIA". Reverse of the coin features the National Emblem - coat of arms and the text "CINCO PESOS G 7.988 LEY 0.916 2/3".
