The Victoria Old Head half sovereign. This half sovereign design is commonly referred to as 'the Old Head' or "Veiled Head", as it is the last portrait of Queen Victoria to appear on a coin. The Old Head is also known as the veiled or widow head; it features an older and more mature portrait of Queen Victoria wearing her crown and veil, as a tribute to her deceased beloved husband. Supplied in very fine condition (VF).
