The coin features a crowned coinage portrait of King Charles III on the obverse side, created by artist Martin Jennings. The reverse side features a design by celebrated coinage artist Timothy Noad, depicting symbols of the coronation ceremony.
This proof coin is made of 925 Sterling Silver and has a diameter of 38.61mm, being a piedfort coin it is twice the usual thickness of a £5 silver crown. As a proof coin, it has a highly polished finish and is struck multiple times with specially prepared dies to give it a sharp, detailed design.
