Description

The Royal Mint's celebrated St George and the Dragon Bullion Coin Collection continues in 2026 with a powerful new design. This third release in the series has been created by designer Sandra Deiana, which features an inscription taken from the George noble upon which St George first featured, as well as micro-text for added security.

The 2026 George & the Dragon 1oz gold coin features a dynamic portrayal of St George battling the dragon. Struck in 999.9 fine gold the coin has a face value of £100 and is therefore exempt from CGT in the UK.
