Our Best Value Half Ounce American Gold Eagle coins. The Eagle range is the official gold bullion coin of the United States; and carries a face value of $25. You will receive any year of coin from our available stock.

The obverse design features Augustus Saint-Gaudens' image of Liberty, holding a torch in her right hand and an olive branch in her left. The reverse design of the American gold Eagle could either be the Type I design by sculptor Miley Busiek, and features a male Eagle carrying an olive branch flying above a nest or the Type II design featuring a close up of a bald eagle's head created by Jennie Norris. The US government guarantee the stated amount of actual gold weight in troy ounces. By law, the gold must be sourced from American mines.
